Morgenstund (Morning Hour) shows an empty Saturn store, Germany’s second-largest electronics retailer. The mamagement only allowed Spinatsch to photograph in the morning before the store opened, since they were afraid customers would object. A consequence of this decision is that the store looks defunct and abandoned in the image, certainly not what the company intended. Morgenstund was shown as site-specific panorama installation. Seen from a distance, it gave the impression that the museum in Mannheim now included a electronics store.
