Big Bang Theorie (Big Bang Theory) is a panorama recording of “Time Travel from the Big Bang until Today” an educational film on the history of the universe from its beginning to today, screened at the planetarium in Mannheim. A film is transformed into a single image, a hemisphere into a rectangle – the history of the universe is compressed into a single panoramic view. The end credits of the film, captured in the two columns on the very right, could be read as harbinger of the end of life on earth.
The work is extant as a site-specific panorama installation.
