The source material for both Sleep video and prints are black and white medium format negatives.
They where taken in the mornings after big techno rave parties in Paris and Montpellier, Summer 1998.

DVD 6’40“, A sequence of still images made from photographs, sound at the beginning and the end, silence in-between.
The relatively short interval of 4 seconds from image to image is just not enough to comprehend if this people are filmed or on filmed photographs, if they are dead or only sleeping. An why some many, in bright daylight ?
